Joachim Komar has an academic background in Automotive Engineering, Industrial Management and Data Science. After completing his degrees at the University of Applied Sciences Joanneum he headed a number of industrial digitalization projects in the field of applied Data Science as well as Mixed Reality workforce training. In his current role as Innovation Manager at ZETA, he focuses on leveraging emerging technologies and standards to provide value for the customers of ZETA’s digital solutions. 
 
  

Joachim strongly believes that future challenges can only be overcome through joint, cross-company cooperation. He is therefore involved in committees such as the ISPE Pharma 4.0 SIP and supports the adoption of open standards like the Asset Administration Shell (AAS). Within the ISPE he recently coordinated a consortium consisting of large pharma suppliers and manufacturers for rethinking data exchange along the value chain to increase the efficiency in pharmaceutical plant maintenance.
