In January 1997, Richard started his career with Compagnie Generale des Eaux (now Veolia) in Malaysia as an Executive for project development in the South East Asian region. Over the course of 26 years, he has taken on many positions, such as Financial Controller for an integrated industrial water and wastewater project in Singapore and Managing Director for the same project. In 2020, Richard was tasked with overseeing the construction of wastewater treatment plants secured under BOT contracts and successfully completed the second plant. After that, he shifted his focus to developing on-site services business for Industrial Projects in the South East Asian region.
