Hendra is an architect with over 20 years of professional experience. He initially worked in Brussel, Belgium for few months as an urban planner before returning to Singapore and joined Jacobs Singapore. He has experience and exposure to a wide range of Pharmaceutical and Chemical Plants.

He started as a junior architect in Jacobs and grew along Jacobs Singapore, working in an inter-discipline team with multi-national clients such as GSK, Abbott, Pfizer, Wyeth, Amgen, Dupont, Exxonmobil, Shell, MSD, etc for both GMP and non GMP projects. He currently held a position as Architecture Section Head.

He has been involved in conceptual and preliminary design, site planning, building design, detailed design and engineering, site supervision and support. His building design experience includes: administration office, laboratories, warehouse, loading/unloading, production building, both GMP and non GMP buildings, and green and brown field projects. 

He has been leading the development of site plan, building layout and arrangement design, operation flows, incorporation of both Singapore government regulatory control and client needs into the design, study of life safety and fire compartmentation, selection and specifying materials complying to regulatory control and design, generating fire safety report for the project in consideration of client emergency response plan, buildability score and Greenmark calculation.

He is multidiscipline teamwork oriented and work within tight timeframe. He has worked on projects ranging from SGD 15 to 150 million.
